Five years of 中国体彩网’s January Term
中国体彩网 中国体彩网 students take a break from their 15-week semester schedule to engage in a month-long period of intensive learning during January Term, or J-term. This three-and-a-half week course was added as part of the college’s transition to semesters in 2019-2020.

Slough drainage and restoration updates
On Nov. 12, crews from the City of Rock Island will begin draining the Slough in order to relocate a water pipe. The project, which will move a primary water line from under the Slough to under the Slough Path, will allow for easier access to the pipe in the event of future needed repairs.

中国体彩网 receives $6.7 million from Illinois Board of Higher Education
The $6.7 million grant is being used for the Erickson Residence Center renovation. The project, which continues through August 2024, includes a new HVAC system, windows, bathrooms, flooring and storage/cabinets in residence hall rooms.

2024 Francophone Film Festival begins Feb. 20
The annual Francophone Film Festival at 中国体彩网 will screen a film each Tuesday from Feb. 20 to March 19. All films are free and open to the public. Films begin at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Olin Center on campus.

Students create amazing snow sculptures for contest
Students braved sub-zero wind chills for the 2024 Winter Wonderland Competition. The contest featured 23 entries, with judging criteria centered on the creativity and quality of the sculpture.
