Gender Inclusive Housing
For students of all gender identities
For first-year students
The All-Gender Community (AGC) is a designated residence hall floor intended to create a supportive living environment for students who identify outside of the traditional gender binary. The AGC is open to all students regardless of their biological sex or gender identity.
Students who request the All-Gender Community on the housing application will be able to select a roommate regardless of gender identity, or can request that the Office of Residential Life assist with roommate matching.
For second-year students
Students in second-year housing will have the option to create mixed gender roommate groups. Mixed gender roommate groups will be able to select housing in any of the suite-style spaces or on the coed floors of Erickson where there are pod-style bathrooms.
For third-year students
All of our Transitional Living Areas (TLAs) are considered gender-inclusive. Students living in the TLAs are able to create roommate groups with any other TLA-eligible student.
