Our mission

The Office of Student Cultural Connection (OSCC) builds community through culture and connection by creating opportunities for students to form meaningful relationships, engage in shared learning, and explore the cultures, stories, and experiences that shape student life. Through intentional programs, partnerships, and spaces, OSCC supports student growth, engagement, and connection across campus.

Our vision

OSCC envisions a campus community where culture brings people together and connection fosters understanding, engagement, and student success. We imagine a campus where students feel connected to themselves, to one another, and to the broader campus community through meaningful cultural experiences and relationships.

Our goals

The Office of Student Cultural Connection works to:

• Build meaningful connections among students through shared cultural experiences
• Create welcoming spaces where students feel supported, a sense of belonging and able to be themselves
• Encourage learning and reflection through cultural exploration and dialogue
• Strengthen campus community by bringing people together across backgrounds and experiences
• Support student engagement and growth through programs, partnerships, and leadership opportunities
