Campus update for March 3, 2021

March 3, 2021

Time to pick a spot for next year

Housing selection for the 2021-22 school year will take place in early April.

To participate in housing selection, submit your housing application for fall 2021 before Monday, March 22, and create your roommate group by April 5.

Please take some time to housing information about living on campus. You will find videos about finding roommates and selecting second-year and TLA housing.

If you want to live on campus this summer, you also can apply online.

Looking ahead to fall study away programs

Study abroad summer programs have been canceled due to concerns for student safety and the unpredictability of travel conditions.

The focus now is on 2021-2022 programs, with the hope that access to COVID vaccines and the adoption of sound practices in the U.S. and around the world will make traveling abroad safer.

→ Registration is open for fall, January term and spring of the 2021-2022 academic year. Programs will remain open until rosters are full or the final deadline of May 10.

Jacob Washington ‘21 is no stranger to planning large events on campus.

As president of the Black Student Union, he’s had to creatively plan events during the pandemic. That includes the Vigil for Lives Lost last fall, Black History Month, and the popular Soul Food Dinner last weekend. (more)

The gnomes are waiting for your vote. These are only three of the many cleverly decorated little imps involved in the SGA contest. Also, there are still a few gnomes that haven't been found, so keep looking!
