Housing update due to Illinois shelter-in-place order
Students who have appointments on Saturday, March 21
You are still welcome to come to campus to check out of your residence hall or TLA during your appointment on Saturday. Please come at your appointment time to help us keep the groups on campus to a minimum. Please also continue practicing social distancing, making every effort to maintain 6 feet of space between you and others.
When you arrive on campus, simply park in a nearby parking lot and go directly to your room to pack your things. Once your room is empty and clean, you can pull your vehicle up to the entrance to load. Finally, stop by the lobby to return your key. TLA residents will go to Swanson Commons to return keys.
Students who have appointments after March 21
Due to the Illinois shelter-in-place order, we need to cancel your check-out appointment for this week. Some appointment times may still be available for Saturday, March 21. You can check at housing.augustana.edu. If you do not have an appointment for Saturday, please DO NOT come to campus.
When the shelter-in-place order is lifted, we will share more information about check-out options. Those who need to leave things on campus will still receive their refund.
Students who did not sign up for a check-out appointment
Due to the governor’s shelter-in-place order, we are asking students who have not scheduled a check-out appointment for Saturday, March 21, to NOT return to campus at this time. When the shelter in place order is lifted, we will share updated information regarding check-out instructions.
If you are on campus and cannot leave, please see housing.augustana.edu. Click on “Applications and Forms” and select the “Spring 2020” application to let us know that you will be here.
