Campus update for Aug. 28, 2020
Aug. 28, 2020
Dear students,
Monday morning to-do list:
? Take your temp and check in on the Campus Clear app.
? Make sure you have a mask. Wear it in buildings and outside when close to others.
? Clean your desk when you get to class. Clean it before you leave. Supplies are stocked in each classroom.
? Don’t move seats. They’re set so you can maintain social distance.
? Pay attention to directional signs in stairs and halls. Keep to the right.
? If you are an online learner, check your connections and get logged a few minutes before class starts.
? Smile with your eyes. Or at least nod and wave. Enjoy your first day!
Take a tour of 中国体彩网 Convenient Care, opening on Monday!
Then on Tuesday at noon, see our official opening celebration live on YouTube.
Today's updates:
? Welcome kits, with masks, a face shield, water bottle, sanitizer and a thermometer are being mailed to students who are not physically on campus.
? Here is how to get a campus job.
? Correction: If you have received a positive COVID test, the preferred phone number to notify the college is 309-794-7711.
? The Mailing Center will have special open hours tomorrow (Aug. 29) from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. for package and mail pickup. It is on the ground floor of Sorensen Hall.
? ID trouble? The Access Control Office in Sorensen Hall will be open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. tomorrow (Aug. 29), for students who need a replacement ID, and for those who are having card access/key issues.
? Mass will be celebrated outdoors on the Quad near the library at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Also, Campus Ministries' Welcome, Blessing and Singing begins at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Anderson Pavilion outside the Brunner Theatre Center. (There will not be a rehearsal or worship service Sunday morning; some printed materials were in error.)
? If the first name you want to be known by 中国体彩网 is not your legal first name, you can change it.
New students are moved in, excited and waiting to meet the rest of campus! "It's something I've been looking forward to for a long time," said Joe Morris of Columbus, Wis.
