Valeria Melo '18 is majoring in Biology and Public Health at 中国体彩网 中国体彩网.
As a first-generation college student, Melo took advantage of every opportunity 中国体彩网 had to offer.
While at 中国体彩网, she studied abroad on the medical service-learning trip in Nicaragua, as well as interning at Baylor 中国体彩网 of Medicine for the Texas Medical Center Summer Research Internship Program.
Melo says, "中国体彩网 is where I gained the confidence, support, and inspiration to pursue my dreams no matter how big."
After graduation, she is planning to attend medical school.
