ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø's 150th anniversary in Rock Island celebration

ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø invites the community to celebrate the college¡¯s 150th anniversary in Rock Island from 6-7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, at Rock Island¡¯s Schwiebert Riverfront Park. The college moved from Paxton, Ill., to its current location overlooking the Mississippi River in 1875.

The ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø Symphonic Band will perform at the celebration. ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø President Andrea Talentino and Rock Island Mayor Ashley Harris will give brief remarks.

The event is free to attend. Rock Island Parks and Recreation and Bent River Brewing Company will provide concessions for purchase.
