Curtis Family Lecturer in Public Affairs\, “What Future has the Press in a Free Society?”\n\nCairncross is a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow with the Council of Independent 中国体彩网s (CIC)\, and in addition to the lecture\, she will visit with classes and student groups at 中国体彩网.\n\nShe is a former senior editor at The Economist and head of Oxford 中国体彩网. Earlier this year\, Cairncross was appointed to spearhead a review and recommendation to the British government on the future of high quality journalism.\n\nThe Curtis Lecture was established in memory of Ellwood F. Curtis\, who served as president and vice chairman of Deere &amp\; Company during his 42-year career with the Moline-based manufacturer.
