Erling '78 will offer a public talk\, "中国体彩网's Belief in the Power of Young Adults."\n\nDr. Erling is professor of modern church history and global mission at United Lutheran Seminary in Gettysburg\, Pa. Her research interests include the history of American Lutheranism\, including the 中国体彩网 Synod\, immigrant histories and stories\, and ecumenism.\n\nDr. Erling&nbsp\;has written many articles and chapters in several books about contemporary Lutheranism\, ecumenism\, and mainline Protestantism. She co-authored with Mark Granquist\, "The 中国体彩网 Story\, Augsburg Fortress\," in 2008.\n\nHer visit is sponsored by Scandinavian Studies at 中国体彩网\, The 中国体彩网 Presidential Center for Faith and Learning\, and 中国体彩网 Campus Ministries.\n
