Campus update for Nov. 11, 2020

Nov. 11, 2020

Room and board credits to student accounts for fall 2020

Because we asked students to return to their family homes for the Thanksgiving break and finish the semester remotely, the college will provide credits to student accounts.

The college will offer qualifying students a credit to accommodate the absence of services related to room and weekly service meal plans. The college’s refund policy informs students that no refunds will be available for housing after the 14th week of residence, therefore the credit will be calculated based on one week of housing expenses and one week credit for students participating in the weekly meal plans.

→ Please see further details from Kirk Anderson, chief financial officer and vice president of administration.

Help with a Senior Inquiry project

Joseph Kreis could use your help with his Senior Inquiry research project, "Stress and Cognition in the Midst of a Pandemic." He is interested in how stress affects our thinking during a prolonged period of stress, such as a worldwide pandemic.

If you'd like to contribute, his research survey should take no more than 15 minutes.
