Assistant Professor of Biology

Brittany McCall researches the genetics and ecology of freshwater fishes. Her research interests include conservation, systematics and climate change biology in aquatic ecosystems.

Alongside her studies, McCall is involved in the natural history collections community and has assisted curating aquatic collections from insects to fishes, preserving historic data to inform future scientific efforts.

Her spare time is spent with her wife, Brittney, exploring the outdoors or spending an evening playing board games with friends and loved ones.
