Jenny Lind Concert: Kine Sandtr?

Soprano Kine Sandtr?, winner of the 2018 Jenny Lind scholarship, will perform along with accompanist Julia Sj?stedt.

This prestigious scholarship is awarded annually by the Royal Swedish Academy of Music in Sweden.

The program is free, but donations will be taken for the Mauritzen Scholarship at ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø which supports Swedish students who attend ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø.

Sandtr?, 26, comes from Stj?rdal in Tr?ndelag, Norway. In 2017, she started her candidate program at the University ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø of Opera in Stockholm, Sweden. She previously studied music at Ole Vig Vidreg?ende Skole, Birka Folkh?gskola, University of Stavanger, Barratt Due Musikkinstitute, and the Opera Studio at Kulturama in Stockholm. She now lives in Stockholm where she studies at the Opera School .

Sj?stedt, 23, is from H?rn?sand in Sweden. She started taking piano lessons at the age of 12 and three years later, she moved to Stockholm to start studying at the Lilla Akademiens Musikgymnasium and continued on to the Royal ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø of Music, Stockholm, where she took her bachelor¡¯s degree. She has just started her master¡¯s degree.
